What you get

Workshop, in three parts.

A real job card

Diagnosis, parts used, completion notes and history — all against the specific asset you worked on.

QA certificate on close

Closing a job generates a printable QA certificate for the client. Proof the work was done properly.

The follow-up sends itself

Pick 1, 3 or 6 months at close-out. O'Sense WhatsApps the customer when the service is due.

Workshop job close-out with asset details and reminder scheduling

The asset, not just the invoice.

Log what you actually worked on — a 50kVA Perkins generator, its serial number, its description — so the next time it comes in, the whole history is already there.

  • Asset type, identifier and description on every job
  • Warranty flagged on the jobs that carry one
  • Intake receipts printed for the customer on arrival
  • Send back to repair without losing the paper trail
Technician working on equipment at a workbench

Every forgotten service is a customer you lose.

Nobody remembers a generator is due for its 500-hour service three months later. The customer does not either — so the job goes to whoever calls them first.

  • Set the reminder once, at close-out
  • Choose 1, 3 or 6 months, or a custom date
  • The message goes out on WhatsApp automatically
  • No sticky notes, no diary, no follow-up list

The work is done. The relationship should not stop there.

A workshop that reminds its customers turns one repair into a service history — and a service history into repeat revenue.

Questions

Workshop, answered.

What is job card software, and does a Zambian workshop need it?

A job card follows one repair from the day it comes in to the day it leaves: the fault, the diagnosis, the quotation, the parts, the labour, the QA check and the warranty. Workshop keeps that on screen for every job, so nothing depends on a paper card or a technician's memory.

Does it work for garages and vehicle repairs?

It works for any equipment you repair — generators, pumps, machines and vehicles alike. Each job records the equipment's name, model and serial number with the fault and the work done. It has no separate fields for a number plate or mileage.

How do service reminders work?

When you close a job, pick when the next service is due — one, three or six months, or a date of your own. When it arrives, O'Sense sends the customer a WhatsApp message itself so they book again.

Can I see the repair history of a machine?

Yes. Every job card keeps the diagnosis, the parts used, the labour, the warranty and the completion notes against the equipment and its serial number, so the next time it comes in its history is already there.

Do customers get a certificate when the job is done?

Yes. Closing a job produces a printable QA certificate for the client, and the warranty period recorded on the job sets when it expires.

Are the parts linked to my stock list?

Parts used on a job are picked from your Inventory product list, so a job card names the same parts your stock list and quotations use.
